Born and raised in Japan, but her journey took a global turn when she began her college studies in Indiana, U.S.A. With a focus on musical performance and education, she became a certified educator in the United States. This achievement opened the door for her to teach both Music and the Japanese language in P-12 classrooms across the U.S. and international schools around the world. Her educational journey has allowed her to connect with the global teacher community. Kaori has taught in various countries, including Hungary, where she pursued her master's degree, as well as in China and the United States. Over the past decade, she has worked with students ranging from 4 years old to high school seniors. While she has always cherished teaching enthusiastic 1st graders, she is now excited to expand her horizons by teaching adults! Having learned English as her second language, Kaori brings a unique perspective to her teaching. Her global experiences have deepened her understanding of various cultures, enabling her to create engaging and productive lessons.
